Welcome to Placer County, Seniors First
Online Searchable Database!


Welcome to the Seniors First/Senior Resource database. This is a free program for seniors who reside in Placer County, California and their families. The Senior Resource database allows you to browse hundreds of services and learn about specific programs, intake requirements, eligibility, operation hours and much more. Remember, there is no cost to use the Senior Resource database.

You may also contact a Resource Specialist and speak with a professional who will help find the information and services needed. Our Resource Specialists provide services in English and if necessary we can arrange for a Spanish speaking translator with prior scheduling. How to navigate the Senior Resource database:

Select the search type in the left hand column of this webpage. Note: The menu bar at the top of the page will take you back to the main Seniors First website.

Service: (We advise you try this type of search first).
Choose the category/service which best matches what you're looking for. Click on one of the services that appear. A box will outline your selected service, then click Continue. Click the name of the service provider for more detailed information.

Quick Search: Type the word(s) you are searching for in the Quick Search Field and click on GO. The number of related keyword matches will appear on the far right side of the page under Login. Click on the blue, underlined keyword which best matches what you're looking for. You can also type in a different word under “Find Text”. Click the name of the service provider for detailed information.

Provider: This tab allows you to search directly by name for the agency, site, or program name you are looking for. In order for this type of search to work, you must know the exact name of what you are looking for.

You will have the opportunity to narrow down your search by county, city, or zip code. To return to the database homepage, click the word "Home" in black font next to the current date.

How to update your agency’s information:


Instructions to request an update to a service provider record: All sections of instructions MUST be completed

Update Agency
• Under the PROVIDER arrow in the left hand column, select AGENCY to search by Agency Name
• Type in your Agency’s name and click on the Agency to see details
• Click on Update this Agency’s Information to Update
• Fill out every area of the form which is applicable and click SUBMIT

Please Note: Instructions for updating each section can be found by clicking the blue question mark next to the 'Update this Information' link.

Update Locations
• Press the BACK button on your browser
• Scroll to bottom of the Agency page to the section titled “Locations operated by this Agency”
• Click on the name of the Site/Location to get to the details page
• Click on Update this Site’s Information to Update the Site/Location data
• Fill out every area of the form which is applicable and click SUBMIT

Update Services
• Press the BACK button on your browser (to get back to the Agency Details page)
• Scroll to bottom of the Agency page to the section titled “Locations operated by this Agency”
• Click on the “I” next to the Site/Location name you just updated
• Click on the name of the Service to get to the Service Details page
• Click on Update this Service’s Information to Update the Service data
• Fill out the form and click SUBMIT
• Press the BACK button on your browser (to get back to the Site/Location Details page)
• Choose the next Service and continue updating each Service located at each Site for your Agency.
